Dolman sleeve

A dolman sleeve is cut as one with the body of the garment, with a deep, wide armhole that tapers to a narrow wrist — creating a draped, batwing-like shape under the arm. There's no distinct shoulder seam, so it drapes loosely and moves freely.

Also called a batwing sleeve, the dolman has a low, roomy underarm that creates soft folds of fabric between the elbow and waist. It gives knits and tops a fluid, relaxed silhouette and plenty of movement.

Like the raglan and drop-shoulder, it avoids a hard shoulder seam — but the dolman's deep armhole makes it the loosest and most draped of the three.
