Merino wool

Merino wool is a fine, soft wool from Merino sheep, much thinner than regular wool so it feels smooth rather than scratchy against the skin. Naturally breathable and temperature-regulating, it's used for base layers, fine knits, and travel-friendly clothing.

The fineness of the fibre is what sets merino apart: thin fibres bend rather than prickle, so it's soft enough to wear next to skin. It also regulates temperature, wicks moisture, and resists odour, which is why it's a travel and activewear favourite.

It makes lightweight, fine-gauge knits — including sleek turtlenecks — that insulate without bulk.
